Cloning

Content pages should always aim to be unique within your site with no duplicated content. However, sometimes it may be useful to clone an existing page to form the basis of a new page within your website.

When a page is cloned, all the content, tags, categories, settings are cloned apart from the page title, menu title and url which must be unique.

Clone a Page

Websites > Your Site

1. In the content page navigation click on the page you wish to clone
2. Click the clone icon beside the version of the page to be cloned
3. Enter the page title
4. Enter the menu title or click copy title
5. Enter the url or click generate from title
6. Click clone page

The new page will be unpublished. Follow standard steps to edit, publish etc.
