Warehouses

Overview

The warehouse feature allows products to be allocated to warehouses, which in turn, enables order fulfillment to be carried out by third parties for example, when 'drop shipping'.

In principle, at the point of sale, a process can occur which, for example, sends dispatch requirements for product A to warehouse 1 and separate dispatch requirements for product B to warehouse 2.

In addition, stock levels can be assigned against warehouses, incrementally decreasing with each sale (see advanced stock)

Create Warehouse

To create a warehouse select eCommerce > Warehouses then click create.

Add a name for the warehouse.

Set Send Order Email to On if you would like relevant orders to be sent directly via email at the point of sale. If selected, add an email address for this warehouse.

Alternatively, API's can be employed to integrate with third party shipping or order fulfillment systems.

Set Enabled to On to activate the warehouse
