Meta content

Overview

Meta content of all types can be added to pages through the page editor. Each iCentric project has over thirty pre-loaded meta tag types, which can have content added for any web page. Additional meta tags can be created through the Meta Tag utility.

Add meta content

Websites > Your Site > Edit Page > Mode > Meta Tags

Select Create and then select the required type of meta tag from the drop down list. Add appropriate content in the content field. On saving the meta content is applied to the page. Note - meta tags of each type can only be used once on each page e.g. if you have applied meta keywords to a page, the meta keywords option will be removed from the drop down list.

Edit meta content

Websites > Your Site > Edit Page > Mode > Meta Tags

Select the required meta tag to edit and click the settings icon. Edit the content and then save.

Remove meta content

Websites > Your Site > Edit Page > Mode > Meta Tags

Meta tags cannot be removed but their content can be deleted. Select the required meta tag to edit and click the settings icon. Delete the content and then save.
